How we work
Four stages, one aim: evidence that changes what a programme actually does, and keeps changing it as the context moves.
We start on the ground: field research, political economy analysis and conversations with the people a programme affects.
We turn what we learn into a conflict-sensitive strategy and theory of change, with clear points where it should adapt.
We work alongside your teams and partners, building capacity so the work continues after the assignment ends.
Monitoring, evaluation and learning feed back into the strategy, and we communicate results to donors and policymakers.
Their field teams reached districts we couldn’t, and the analysis changed where we put the programme.
The evaluation was built around the decisions we actually had to make, not a reporting template.
They understood the conflict dynamics and made sure our design didn’t make them worse.
